Myelodysplastic syndromes

Know Your Treatment
Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS) are a group of disorders caused by poorly formed or dysfunctional blood cells in the bone marrow. These conditions are considered bone marrow failure syndromes, where the bone marrow fails to produce enough healthy blood cells. The blood cells produced are often abnormal and don’t function properly. MDS can lead to a variety of issues, such as anaemia, infection, and bleeding.
