Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia
Know Your Endocrinology and Diabetology Treatment
Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia (MEN) refers to a group of rare genetic disorders that cause tumors in multiple endocrine glands. These tumors can be benign or malignant and may result in hormone overproduction. MEN syndromes are inherited in an autosomal dominant pattern, meaning a person only needs one copy of the mutated gene from either parent to inherit the condition.
