Lymphoproliferative disorders
Know Your Treatment
Lymphoproliferative disorders (LPDs) are a group of conditions characterized by the abnormal proliferation (growth and multiplication) of lymphocytes, a type of white blood cell that plays a key role in the immune system. These disorders result in an excessive accumulation of lymphocytes, leading to abnormal growth of lymphoid tissue, which can affect various parts of the body such as the lymph nodes, spleen, liver, and bone marrow.
