Heart Bypass Surgery (CABG)

Heart bypass surgery, medically known as Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG), is a surgical procedure used to restore normal blood flow to the heart when one or more of the coronary arteries become narrowed or blocked due to plaque buildup (atherosclerosis).
During CABG, a healthy blood vessel (graft) is taken from another part of the body—usually the leg, arm, or chest—and used to create a new path around the blocked artery. This allows blood to flow freely to the heart muscle, reducing the risk of heart attack, chest pain (angina), and heart failure.

At Desun Hospital, we specialize in advanced CABG procedures, performed by highly experienced cardiac surgeons using state-of-the-art technology and minimally invasive techniques.
