Know Your Endocrinology and Diabetology Treatment
Diabetic foot is a term used to describe a range of complications in the feet and legs caused by poorly controlled diabetes. It often results from a combination of peripheral neuropathy (nerve damage), poor circulation, and a reduced ability to fight infections. Left untreated, diabetic foot problems can lead to ulcers, infections, and, in severe cases, amputation.
