About Dr Gourab Bose

Dr.Gourab Bose is a highly trained Orthopaedic Surgeon with a strong academic foundation and extensive international clinical experience. He completed his MBBS from the prestigious IPGMER and SSKM Hospital, followed by an MS in Orthopaedics from Calcutta National Medical College, institutions renowned for their excellence in medical education and clinical training. To further strengthen his credentials, he obtained the Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Orthopaedics from the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences.

Driven by a commitment to global standards of care, he went on to earn the Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS), England, as well as MRCSEd from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, reflecting his adherence to the highest benchmarks of surgical competence. He subsequently completed a Senior Clinical Fellowship in Hip and Knee Surgery at the North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust, United Kingdom, where he gained advanced expertise in joint replacement and complex lower limb procedures.

Prior to this, he served as an Orthopaedic Surgeon with the NHS at Peterborough City Hospital, contributing to high-volume orthopaedic services and multidisciplinary patient care. His training and practice across India and the UK have equipped him with a comprehensive, evidence-based approach to orthopaedics, with a particular focus on hip and knee surgery, patient safety, and functional outcomes.

He is currently attached to Desun Hospitals, Kolkata.
