TURBT

Know About Treatment
TURBT (Transurethral Resection of Bladder Tumor) is a minimally invasive surgical procedure used to diagnose and treat bladder cancer. During TURBT, tumors in the bladder are removed through the urethra using a resectoscope, a specialized instrument with a camera and cutting tool. This procedure is the primary treatment for superficial bladder cancer, which is confined to the inner layers of the bladder and has not spread to deeper tissues or other organs.
