Sarcoidosis
Know About Treatment
Sarcoidosis is an inflammatory disease that most commonly affects the lungs and lymph nodes, but it can also impact other organs such as the skin, eyes, heart, and liver. The condition causes the growth of small clusters of inflammatory cells, called granulomas, in affected tissues. The exact cause of sarcoidosis is unknown, but it is believed to involve an abnormal immune response, possibly triggered by an environmental factor, such as infection or inhaled substances.
