Renal parenchymal/glomerular disease
Know Your Surgery
Renal Parenchymal/Glomerular Disease refers to conditions that affect the functional tissue (parenchyma) and structures of the kidneys, particularly the glomeruli, which are the tiny filtering units of the kidney. The glomeruli play a critical role in filtering waste products, excess fluid, and electrolytes from the blood, and when they are damaged, it can result in impaired kidney function.
