Kidney stone diseases

Know Your Surgery
Kidney stone disease, also known as urolithiasis or nephrolithiasis, refers to the formation of solid, crystalline deposits (stones) in the kidneys. These stones form when substances in urine become too concentrated, leading to crystal formation. Over time, these crystals can grow into larger stones. Kidney stones can range in size from tiny grains to large, jagged masses and may cause pain, urinary tract infections, or kidney damage.
