Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD)

Know About Treatment
Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) refers to a group of more than 200 lung disorders that cause progressive scarring (fibrosis) of lung tissue. This scarring affects the interstitium, the part of the lungs that supports the alveoli (air sacs), making it harder for oxygen to pass into the bloodstream. ILD can lead to significant breathing difficulties and reduced lung function over time.
