How anger affects immunity?

Emotions always affect our physical health, be it positively or negatively. In fact our every cell gets affected by our emotion.Anger affects our well-being if it’s frequent. On the other hand ‘Immunity’ is the natural defense mechanism of human body. Human Immune system performance is measured by secretory IgA or Immunoglobins A which acts as a defensive coating for the cells against attacking bacteria and viruses.

Anger and stress decreases IgA levels, making us more vulnerable to respiratory diseases like cough, cold and flu. A research says that a mere recall of an angry experience causes as long as six-hour long suppression of the immune system.  On the other hand, care boosted IgA levels.

Secondly anger increases blood pressure and heart beat. Vision becomes sharper. If it happens occasionally the effects are not that dangerous unlike if practiced daily. Important is to vent out the anger than keeping it inside ones.
